Do you have a Spanish speaking therapist, or do you use an interpreter?
A therapist. Our bilingual clinicians conduct the session in Spanish themselves. There is no interpreter, no third person on the line, and no waiting while your words get relayed. Therapy through an interpreter loses the thing that makes therapy work, which is being understood the moment you say something.
I searched in English. Can I still get therapy in Spanish?
Yes, and this is more common than people expect. Plenty of bilingual Oklahomans search, work, and email in English while preferring Spanish for anything emotional. Tell us your preferred language when you call and we will match you accordingly.
Can I see a Spanish speaking therapist online from outside Oklahoma City?
Yes. We provide telehealth to clients located anywhere in Oklahoma, from Guymon to Idabel. You need to be physically in the state at the time of your appointment, which is a licensing requirement rather than a preference of ours.
Do you take SoonerCare?
Yes. We accept SoonerCare and SoonerSelect, along with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, Ambetter of Oklahoma, Humana, and Oklahoma Complete Health.
My parent speaks Spanish and I do not. How does that work?
You can call and handle the logistics in English. Scheduling, insurance verification, and any questions you have get answered in whichever language you prefer. Your parent’s sessions then run entirely in Spanish, with a clinician they can speak to directly.
Are your Spanish speaking therapists licensed?
Our team includes both fully licensed therapists and therapists under supervision. A therapist under supervision has finished their graduate degree and is completing the supervised clinical hours Oklahoma requires for independent licensure, with a fully licensed clinician reviewing their work throughout. Both see clients in Spanish, and both are covered by the insurance plans listed above. If you have a preference, say so when you call and we will match you.
How do I schedule my first appointment?
First-time patients schedule by phone. Call 405-338-7674 and we will verify your insurance and book your first session in the same call. Have your insurance card nearby if you have one. You can ask for a Spanish speaking staff member when you call, or go straight to our appointments page for details.
Where is your Oklahoma City office?
